ok well the koni idea is out the door. im going back to bilstein.


now my question is whats the difference between the MONO tube and Twin tube design? most importantly what are the performance differences?

no the bilsteins are more expensive for starters.

it is my understanding that twin tube lend themselves to a softer ride, but I cannot recall who told me that.

Want to know it too. My car was lowered when I bought them, but i'm not sure what kind of shocks i'm driving with. Is there a sign or something on it where I can find the brand??

ok this is what i found out. the mono tube design disapates (spelling) heat much better, and because of the larger piston and heat disapation thing, the life of the shock lasts longer. as for performance , what i heard is that the mono tube matches the rear bilsteins sports a lot better than the twin tubes do. so i guess its mono tube.

i pick them up tonight.
