I hit a deer over the weekend (I'm okay car is not)anyway its at the dealer now and they're going to put an M3 bumper on the car instead of the stock one and I was thinking of having the later style, read thicker, grills put on instead. I've seen them on ebay but want to know if the 97 and later OEM grills will fit as they have to be replaced as well. Any ideas? since its all under my insurance I might as well use OEM parts and get them now...

You need the complete nose panel with the grills in it. The 97+ grills won't fit in the pre 97 nose panel.

Thanks Kevin, so then my next question is will the 97 nose panel bolt up? Or am I better off just getting the ones off Ebay? for example:

97 nose panel will fit. If you damaged the nose panel, go for it.
