hello
so on my way to work my light comes on showing its over heating and so i turned back around and parked it on my drive way,getting out i was in a rush and went to my other car but then i hear a loud pop and coolant starts flushing out the bottom of my car and down the driveway. i didnt get a chance to take a look at it as i am currently at work still.
if anyone knows what happened help!

Sounds like a hose might have blew.......but on the e36, check the upper radiator neck for cracking where the upper hose connects, also check to see if you still have the stock thermostat housing which is plastic & are prone for cracking too! they are common problems.......but you will have to check where exactly the leak is & get back to us.........depending on the mileage, it might be time to replace the waterpump, thermostat & housing, & upper & lower radiator hoses......I just did all this about 6 months ago, @ 93,000 miles. It cost me under $150.00 in parts from........Autohaus

cool thanks and u no i did find some plastic when i got home that was under the car well anyways i had it towed to this mechanic that alot people says he does good work and doesnt charge much at all...so ill get to u guys in a couple of days
