I recently put in a new starter for my car, and this reset all the electronics. Now, my factory tape deck asks for a code and won't play. Where can I find my code? How do I put it in?
Mine had a decal on it with the code typed right on it (51133 ?). Pull yours out and look at it for a sticker on there, should be a 5 digit code. If you can't find one there and you don't have one in your owners manual packet then you might have to go to the dealer with the radio and let them dig it out for you. I've also seen software on Ebay that claims to be able to give you the code but I haven't tried those. I just installed a JVC head unit in mine so I'm not using the stock one anymore.
