Help!!! Removing Stock Air Box

I am trying to install my ECIS intake and following the directions on removing my stock airbox but there are 2 hoses connected to the bottom of the airbox. I tried to remove the hoses but they are full of antifreeze. This is not in my directions, anyone who has removed the airbox help please. My car is being taken apart as we speak.

there shouldn't be anything with liquid going into your airbox...

its sopposed to be held in by like 2 screws.... and u have to take off the cruise control..

I have never really gotten into this car and the hoses(yes full of antifreeze) were going into the heat sensor unit. I was supposed to leave the hoses connected and remove the whole thing(heat sensor). The ECIS directions said to disconnect everything and pull out the box and had no pictures or diagrams that were worth anything. Once I realized what I was supposed to do it was not too bad. Hardest part is making sure everything fits perfectly it was a very snug fit.

that sensor has to be completely disconnected from teh box, not the hoses. just tie it down somewhere on the exposed frame rail when the box is out.
