Hello,
Ive been searching everywhere and cannot find the answer. I want to do a custom headlight conversion on my Probe using THESE BMW headlights. However i need to know what the diameter of those projectors is. I emailed the person selling those lights and they wont respond to me.
Yeah Luke, those don't look so hot. In any event, the diameter of those is not the same as oem BMW, they are smaller. Generally when you get little or no response from a company, I would be reluctant to do business with them.
True, your likely to get the same response as they crumble to pieces during install...e-mail Matt G. at www.umnitza.com If it can be done, he can probably point you in the right direction, although you probably will spend a little more money than you were planning.
Actually the company replied to couple of my questions about those lights, but whenever I ask the size of the projectors they never answer. About the quality, Do you think the actual lense part will fall apart? I dont need the bezel, just the individual projectors. As to who said that they are probably smaller than OEM, What size is OEM?
I really can't tell you if those will fall apart, I've never owned them. But you generally get what you pay for. My headlights were old and the lenses were scratched and fogged, so I bought nice new Eurospec Ellipsoid projector headlights. They were quite pricey, but worth every penny.
I don't know the exact diameter of mine, but I can tell those are smaller because they don't fill up the housing like they do mine.
