Help Please....A/C Trouble

I have an 2001 325ci and I bought it in the winter and I recently used the A/C this month with complications.

I noticed that the driver's side was blowing cool air (not cold) and the passenger side was blowing air. Is this caused by the compressor or do I need to recharge the A/C?

Are there separate temp controls for each side of the car? It could be that the passenger side has a dial set on a warm setting. If it's making cold air, it shouldn't need a recharge.

but he/she said it is blowing "cool air" not cold air... Have you checked your cabin filters? when they clog up it restricts airflow if new filter dont solve it, I would have a BMW indy that can do A/C diagnosis it(check the pressures and what not)

I do not have separate temp controls...panel is all push button digital, no dials or knobs..

Excuse my naivity, but for this model do I have to set the temp controls on separate screens for driver and passenger side?

That makes sense..I haven't check the cabin air filters since October.

if you had dual climite control you would have 2 tempature settings on 1 screen(there would be 2 buttons with hot and cold below it)

Check them the clog once in awhile....
