Help With Oil - BMW Forum

Ok, so i check ,y oil level today and it has fallen down to the min point on the dipstick. Last time i changed the oil was about 6k maybe 7k miles ago. I have just over 142k miles on my 320. Mind you i do like floring it 30 meters before a red light and break like mad afterward and i do use the kickstart a lot, A LOT. (she's an automatic) Anyway, should i be really concerned about it at this point, anyone else has this?

dude, change the oil for love of god. 7k??? i cange mine at 2500-3K religously. Be alarmed at the fact you havent chngned it in 5 months and change it..good to go..

I know i know it's a lot 7000 miles, but i only changed it 2 months ago. I did so many miles coz i took a trip to rome from london. It was 1200 miles there and 1200 back. Plus lately i have had to drive like 50-60 miles almost every day. However, i just got a bit worried cos it has never had this kind of consumption before. But i have been driveing as if i'm racing for the past few months. I have become a very unfriendly driver. But just to show that i love my baby i do normally change the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter every 2 green lights on the service indicator and do a full inspection at the dealership when it hits the orange light.
