Help needed

Hey is there anyone out there can give me some advice on resetting/initializing my key locking button for my 318ti. Tried what the workshop said & doesnt work.

check the internal battery and make sure u have adequate battery voltage first before doing the sequence

I have put new batteries in & folowed the set up sequence. The light on the key flashes as if reading or registering but it still doesnt work, damn frustrating
