HELP!!! my roof leaks

So i bought a 95 318i convert. My buddy sold it to me for a great price. I am the second owner with all records and history attached to the car. It's in fantastic shape. The is a problem with the roof though. The passanger side leaks... A LOT!!! i ask'd my buddy if he had the same problem and what he did to fix it. He handed me a role of blue painters tape... Yeah... Awesome... so i know that the roof is only about a year old... i have the reciept. And i was told by someone that there might be a way to adjust the roof to tighten up the seal...

ANY THOUGHTS?!?!?!?
