1) i need to get a full brake job...gonna come out to be about $400 just for parts, anyway i can put the rotors/brakes/sensors in myself?
2) the guy who hooked up my car said i needed new front control arms(with bushings and ball joints)..i i get em used off a m3, can i install em myself?
3) Wheel Spacers..i just got my car balanced and the guy said i needed wheel spacers...should i get plastic or metal and can i install em myself or would i need to get my rims rebalanced?
1. There's a nice write up by out fearless leader in the DIY section
2. You could replace them yourself if you pick up a pickle fork from the local autoparts store. It's a common rental type thing. But, you should just order ones from somewhere online with new full metal balljoints preinstalled.
3. If you can take wheels off you can put spacers on
All this is relative to your level of mechanical ability. Only you can determin if you can do it or not.
