Hey guys im pretty new to the forum and was just wondering if anyone knows how to install a Zeemax Spoiler. It came with some screws but there is no way to drill into the trunk and actually place the screws. Also if i can't screw it in does anyone know about industrial epoxy? Anyone know if it would hold. Thanks for any help guys!
obviously u need to get it painted.. so why don't u make the people who paint it, put it on.. also, u need to install the spoiler, then paint it.. so that they are able to match the paint correctly!
Take it to a body shop if you are unsure, I don't recommend gluing a wing on, unless it's a lip spoiler, as far as painting it the right color, any body shop can match it to your car with your paint code located on your shock tower.
You need to use masking tape on the trunk lid where the spoiler will sit on. Position spoiler on the masking tape and mark where the holes are that need to be drilled. Remove any trunk lining in the way. Now drill where the marks are. Use a smaller bit then gradually increase until the screws are nice and snug. Apply some spoiler adhesive all around where the spoiler will rest on. Attach spoiler with screws or bolts (whatever hardware that came with the spoiler) from underneath the trunk lid and you should be good to go.
