So I got my P36's, put the wires together with the pnp it came with. Installed them right I think but there seems to be a problem. When I turn the parking lights on the corner lights go on as well as the angel eyes. If I flick the high beams on then both headlights (low and high) on each side come on. When I turn the low beams on the angel eyes turn themselves off and I cant turn on the high beams at all. What did I do wrong??? Any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks guys
The gray wire goes from the back of the headlights straight to the corner light. I dont know what is going on inside the headlight housing. I am not that good with wiring.
i am confused. I didn't think I had daytime running lights. I have a 98 318i. The new headlights I thought only had angel eyes, low beams, and high beams....I am confused here so sorry if I sound stupid. If the gray wire is for the daytime running lights which wire is for the angel eyes??? There are only 4 wires coming out of the back, (ground, high, low, and city/angel?????). How would I go about hooking them up correctly???? IF you have any more questions that you need to ask me in order to determine what is wrong I would be more than happy to answer. Thanks
yeah I got the pnp and headlights from umnitza and followed the instructions on the pnp website. The P36 pins werent in the same locations but I think i got every wire attached right. It didn't say anything about additional splicing. Do I need to splice something?? The only splicing I did was from the gray wire coming from the pnp to the gray wire with the stripe going down it heading toward the corner lights. Thanks again for ur help
OK so everything is working ok except the angels eyes on one side dont seem to be getting any power to them. Could this be a problem with the balast in the headlights????? If so how do I solve this problem cause it looks really nasty driving with angel eyes on one side
