Help!HelP! - BMW Forum

So I installed my new blower motor but in order to put it in i had to the battery and then the dme. When I was done i proceeded to reconect everything. When i Connected the battery I noticed the key was not on the ignition but the Lights were on on the dash such as parking brake, oil, check engine, tranny service, and some otherones. When i put my key in the ignition the car cranks but it wont start. the lights stay on all the time. If i disconect the dme and then connect the battery the lights go away but the engine still only cranks. Any one have any Idea? Help! Help! my car is a 1992 325i

First things first and check the fuses.

Sounds like the handy BMW security feature that disables power to the fuel pump. I have no idea how to fix it though.

all fuses are ok, Already checked them. As far as the security feature I dont think it would make my lights on the dash light up i mean even the ac has power with out the key even being on the ignition. but thanks.
