from the description of the part, when you say round, do you mean like a cylinder? how big is it? small like a red bull can or big like a bulk 100 pack of CD-roms, or big and flat like a pizza? what kind of hoses--vacuum hoses or fluid hoses?
not sure how the emissions systems differ on euro cars. some "round things with hoses" could be carbon canister, icv, compressor, intake manifold (6 round things), brake booster, hydro unit.
