HELP!!! BMW E36 318is HELP!!! car just stopped starting!!!

FIXED ----------- Was flooded ------------- KEPT HOLDING IGNITION THEN REVVED THE HECK OUTA IT








I have just got back from class and have had my car parked at home all day and I went to jump in it to move it and mum yelled out because the cat was under my car, for a joke a started it the second I got in and chucked it in reverse asap, As i Did so the car wirrled to a shut down...


Now when I try start it the belts move and it just kinda wurrs, it never actually shutters and starts.
Doh...


Helllp must drive tomorrow but by the looks of it i wont have my car..

I have a fair understanding of under the hood so to what might of happened wether its related to the start I did or not any tips would be highly appreciated
