I just installed a cold air intake in my 98 318ti and Im not sure what this part is. (View Pic.)

Its was on the back driver side of the airbox.

I'm not sure what or where the hose connects to.

When I started the car it idled pretty rough.

Help, please

looks like the hose that comes from the middle of the intake and connects to the bello of the intake,hope this helps, MARCO
