I have a 1994 381i 5 speed. Everything will be fine and then all of a sudden the car will lose power. I try to down shift and it still looses power...it actually looses power in every gear. The thing that seem to work the best is if I turn the key off (moving or not) and the turn it back on. It is worse if I turn the air on. I have taken this to 1 independant mechanic and a BMW dealer and no one can figure it out!!! I will tel you that before I bought it it did sit for over a year without being driven HELP!!!!!
