Service Training Education Program. Just curious if any of you have any knowlege of this program or what its about. My school advertises it.

welcome to bimmerwerkz. i personally dont know much about the traning, but a good friend of mine (who is now a licenced BMW mechanic ) did it. other than that im not help....with that said.. welcome to bimmerwerkz?

A rep from UTI just came to my high school and talked about it. All i know is that it's BMW's advanced training that must be done before becoming a licensed mechanic. It's an 8 month course at UTI and then you have the choice of going on for more schooling for certain companies. BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Volkswagen are the only 4 companies that offer advanced training tho, at least thru UTI. Also, you cant just choose to go there, you have to be one of the top 3 in the class and be recommended by your instructor. After all that it's still up to BMW if they want you. Other than that i don't know much! Welcome to the forum!
