so trade it for a euro style audi a2 tdi or something? yeah, insurance for me is cheap; my mpg is highway/30; city/25; or u could wait for the hybrid/turbo diesel.... i drove one in germany before, that car was really kewl... to be honest with u, i just don't like the looks of your car..., maybe u can beef it up or something? i hope u respect my honesty and don't take me the wrong way...

chungga guy, lay off. whats wrong with a 318? a lot of us have a 318. they are fine. they are great cars. better on fuel, and way less for insurance.

I think the hatch-backs are cute . BMW's may be expensive to fix, but Audi's are way worse! If you're going to sell it (which you didn't say you did... ), would a 4 door have cheaper insurance rates over there? Let's see.... I think I would probably... get different rims (and paint it white, of course ). But that's just my own tastes.

Ahh that is because it is parked on a slope. I don't want an Audi. Always wanted a Compact and being 20 - a 325 isn't an option!

Cheers for all the comments, sorry I didn't see the recent posts. Got new wheels on it now. Getting the chrome and white dials in soon.

Then a spoiler, m3 front, and light tints. Thats about it, might go for a nice subtle zorst too.

Eh, it may look aight, but I wouldn't go for the spoiler... It won't make you go faster. It's a nice, clean car all by itself, it doesn't need anything else.

Don't you just hate when you do something like buy your first BMW some idiot tells you how you should've done it better.

I've gotten so many remarks like this when I announced I had just bought my 318i...

"buy a 325i", "buy a 325is manual","Why not trade it in and get an M3?"

We all can't afford and probably not everyone who buys a BMW wants to drive an E36 325i.

I like the 318i for gas milage and low maintenance....not evryone is looking for speed, high gas milage and higher maintenance costs.
