This morning was the coldest day this year (-30 degrees C). I was getting heat inside the car (thank God) but the fan wouldn't go to full power. I was wondering what it could be. Maybe the bearings weren't turning properly because of the cold? Maybe there is some kind of control that doesn't allow the fan to go on high speed when it is too cold? The digital display showed full power but the fan would not respond. Any ideas?

Your final stage resistor is starting to go.
$125 CDN at the dealer. Check other threads in this forum regarding this issue.
Type "Final Stage Resistor" in your search.

Good luck

Thanks Rally.
Called the dealer and they have the part.
And I did a search and found out how to replace it myself.
I just didn't know what it was called.
