Heater/ac Control Comes On By Itself

I was on my way home from work with the windows open wide and my heat came on. I figured it was on cause I turned it on. So I turned it off, 2 min pass and it is on again. It was blowing hot air so it was working. It was like a cat and mouse game on and off the whole way home. One time I turned it off but the fan kept blowing. What do you guys think. Should I do the capcitor change, or you guys think it is the whole unit?

Sounds like a heater fan resistor fault to me

INTERNAL CAPACITOR

If the thing expierences glitches. Power on and off randomly. Then its the capacitor.
