I have a 1997 m3 but the driver side heated seat is not working. There is light when you turn on the switch.

I've got the same problem too, except passenger side. I've thought about tearing the seat apart and replacing the heater element, but don't want to until I'm sure it's the heater and not something else.

I just don't know where to start trouble shooting.
