my headlights on my car are very dim and i was wandering if there was a lightbulb that would make it better. I'm just not sure if the silverstar H1's would fit in an oem healight assembly
If you dont alreayd have Silverstars.... then I'm sure they make them in your size... other than the H1 bulb.... if your using a yellowish color bulb.. then you are missing out... change them... most auto parts stores have the newer blueish colored.... and clear ones.. which help out a lot..
once you use silverstars you won't want to use anything else, they work great and aren't too expensive. They do make them in the 9005 and 9006 sizes our cars use.
Autozone...Ebay...anywhere you'll find them. I also find that the E36 OEM headlights suck! I once heard that it's because the aim too low to the road so they don't project far enough. I seen proof of this theory after driving my Girl friend's Dodge Neon. The lights on her car are aimed up off the hood so even without fancy silverstars or projector bulbs they seem brigther that stock BMW headlights!
