Headlights Problem

Hi, I got a headlights problem with the low beam. The two lights aim at different distances. The left One is higher than the right one. I am new with BMW 3 series, just bought the car a cough of weeks ago, so I am not sure it is a problem or not. Just got a weird feeling when driving at night. I will appreciate if anyone can help me. u say left, depending on what side you're driving on, but the headlight closer to the side of the road is meant to go further then the one towards the center line. u can fiddle with them anyway, there is a screw thing on top of each one when u lift up the bonnet. a big black screw thing u just put a screw driver in a turn.

Thanks for your help. The one on the road side does go further than the other on the central line. I will give it a try by your way tomorrow.
