im getting some new headlights this weekend, im gonna get those ellipsoid with angel eyes with the glass cover, im curious thou, where i live there alot of big trucks (18 wheelers) and they are the main cause for cracked windshields and such...my question is, those glass covers on the ellipsoids...are they easy to break or crack? my fog lights are glass to, ive had em for about 2 months and one of them cracked already...used:
theres your answer there man. Nothing like pretty lookin headlights that get replaced every two months cause the butch ass 18 wheelers drive like their is no tomorrow

lol...yea thats what sucks about living right on the border...import export is real big here...
so is there like some protective cover or something i can put on there? and also...if the glass cover breaks...can i jsut replace it, or do i just need to buy new headlights....
i know that my headlights (85 325e) are single lamps and not one big housing unit (like my old honda accord), it's easy to replace. i'm not sure how the older models are (i can't picture my dads 740il right now, it's ten of 3 and my brain is shut off for the night). i'll look at it tomorrow for ya. the only thing i can think of is like a car bra and sometimes that just makes your car look ugly. but it may be your only hope

yea, im not to fond of car bras...'85 325e huh...my dad has a 86 325 with lik 50,000 miles on it...all original...he just put some HP Evo 18's on it...hes gonna drop it next week
85 325 with that little mileage. thats nice man. mine has..144 on it and i'm lowering it soon, i need to replace all the stock stuff my grandfather left in there. i mean for christ's sake there was an engelsomething HUMPERDINK tape in the car when he gave it to me. i honestly thought humperdink was a joke last name, like no one ever had it, except for that guy in the movie 'the princess bride'. but in all fairness he left a tom jones tape in there too, and i'm a fan

You can also order from umnitza.com or apexcone.com. Stonguard is some good stuff. It definilty has saved my foglights a couple of times. When I replace my headlight covers, I am putting Stonguard on them.

after gazing at all the nice headlights that are offered, you think it is possible that i might be able to add a glass cover to my headlights? i have a 325e and they're exposed. i was thinking it might be nice to put the glass in front
