Headlight switch bulb remains lit

I recently replaced the lightbulb in my headlight switch because it was burnt out. However when I turn the car on, the bulb turns on lighting the switch and foglight button in spite of the lights being off. Anyone ever have this issue? Is there a possible short somewhere?

Very likely normal; my mom's VW does that too. I bet it's to keep the headlight switch visible and easily found with the lights off in dark places. I've found it pretty handy actually...
