HEADLIGHT/DDE INSTALL?

I just recieved my ZKW ellipsoids with DDE lightning today and am dissapointed to find that no instructions came with it or anything. It comes with a 200 page document to view on the computer but it doesn't even refer directly to the headlites set, but rather the "rings" themselves and putting them into the headlamp (which i dont even need to do). When I ordered these and asked the guy at Umnitza if i'll need to have it installed somewhere, he laughed and said "when you open the box, you'll be done with the install in 45-50 minutes" and that "anyone in their right mind can do it". Well I must not be in my right mind because it looks more complex than I thought, or maybe thats because it doesn't even come with instructions?

Has anyone purchased the umnitza zkw's and if so, how do you install these damn things? heh.. the website doesn't even show proper instructions to install the headlites someone help me pleaze. Thx

its pretty much common sense.. think about it....???? u wanna un-bolt the old headlights out, and put the new 1's in... then u wanna attach some wires... just think about it... its pretty easy

It is rather easy.

First remove the turn signals. To do this, there is a retainer clip on the side of the turnsignal closest to the headlight. Use a flashlight and locate. Pop the clip outwards toward the fendert and it will pop out.

There are five bolts that hold in your existing headlight assembly. Three are easily visible on top, and one on each end at the bottom. Remove these, unplug the asseembly, and it comes right out.

Install your new ones in reverse order. ou will only use four to reinstall as the ZKW does not have a mounting hole on the top in the middle. The only wire not connected to the PNP harness is for your DDE. This can be tied into your parking lights or headlights whichever you so chose.
