Went out for a spin this morning,

Gutted
Keep watching those temp issues guys!!
If your good with your hands, the jobs not that bad, but do invest in a torque bar/wrench, you will need this to torque the head bolts down and please only use BMW gaskets or you will end up in a worse situation than you are already.
Best of luck.

Thanks mate.
Think i will stick a new head on there anyway.
mayo is third of the way up the dipstick.
I am convinced it is a cracked head.
Will let you know.
Cheers

Also use new head bolts, if not make sure you use loctite threadtite, but its best to use new ones as you will have to do a re-torque after about 100 miles.
