Hazard lights help

I need some help with the hazard lights on my 1997 328ic. The hazard lights only turn on when they want to. Like if you push the button they might turn on or not and if they do only for about twenty seconds and then a clicking noise and they turn off. What could this be? Some relay or something because all the fuses are good.

Do the turn signals work rightly? If so, it may be the switch or a ground fault. If not, possibly the flasher relay.

The turn signals work just right. I have noticed though that when I have the button pushed down and put my left turn signal on the button will flash but not when I put on the right turn signal.

Just another weird thing I noticed. When they do turn on they stay on for about a minute then I hear a short buzzing sound then they turn off. After a while they turn on again and same thing. Also when they are not wanting to turn on and I have the hazard light button pushed I use my left turn signal and the button flashes but does not flash when I use my right turn signal.
