Which Haynes manual for my BMW? - BMW Forum

Hi guys, I'm totally confused as to which Haynes manual (UK) I need for my BMW.

I just bought a BMW 323i Touring, it is an R reg 1997. (don't ask me what E number it is, I don't know what E36 etc is?).

Anyway, acording to the local car accessories shop and the Haynes web site then jumped from 1996 to 1998 with their manuals and didn't do one for my model? wierd.

Can anyone advise.

there is a bently rpair manual which is sticy... for free..
you might as well just download it

Definitely download the manual from here. A Haynes manual can't even compare to a Bentley.

The Bentley manual covers all E36 vehicles. You car is indeed an E36. Get the E36 Bentley BMW 3 Series Repair manual.

Where do I download this Bently manual? nowbody has posted a link yet?

Also, I am assuming you are not talking about the car manufacturer Bentley? I mean, I have a BMW.

bentley is just the publisher or whatever.. the manual is for cars like yours and ours.

haha hmm it worked for me. someone must have fixed/changed it.

i got nothing.

the file is probably too big to email, its like 93MB or so... unless gmail will let ya email something that big, and i doubt it will....

Downlaod dosn't work on teh above link, I go there and click Downloads then click the 97MB manual, after it downloads it is not there i.e. it craps out half way through. Fault with the zip file.

well it can't be a fault witht he zip file cause the file isn't even zipped, it's pdf, lol. also you said you wanted the haynes manual and it is the 7.2MB file, not the 92.7MB file, also many people have downloaded all of these files from me already and said they worked and thanks so i know it's not my server. just make sure you know where you are saving the file, you could be miss placing it. i can email you the haynes file if thats the one you wnat just pm me you email addy or soemthing, and if you want the 92.7MB file just try it again.
