hey everyone, wanted to know if anyone can help me solve my problem. Whenever my bass from my sub hits it causes my instrument panel lights to flicker. Can this be caused from a bad wire or something?
do your headlights dim and flicker too? what watt amp are you running? you may need to hook up a capacitor to help evenly distribute the power. i had a similar problem when hooking up my system
Hey infusion, Did you upgrade your alternator? I tried to get an answer to this but never had. Do you think the 140 amp found on other E36 cars could be installed on a 318i in place of the 80 amp?
no i havent upgraded yet but im highly considering it, even though my charge is fine, at idle my lights flicker...and all i have is some dde's and a alpine head unit...im thinking of 110 or 140 whatever i can find to be easier to drop in..is ur 318 obd1 or 2, basically wat year is ur car?
I upgraded already to the Optima Yellow top (Deep Cycle). I do know and understand that I have the 80 amper. But I always tried to see if I could change to the 140 amp that I have seen around for BMW. Just don't know if I could get it done because I cannot get an answer anywhere. used:
