i was driving today and took the onramp turn at about 30 and was turning right, the whole left side of the car made like a bumping noise and shook the car a bit, iam new to bmws and have only had the car for couple months.....any ideas??
its got 90 000 miles its does it a bit when i brake real hard but i mean it has eibach shocks but thats it so maybe its just to fast iam cornering for stock? it just seems like it should take more then that...am i wrong?
Have a look at the bushes in the front of the rear trailing arms the bond give and the arm hit the mount I change hundred of them They are mounted up in the body so you’ll have to get right under to check them. Only drawback is if they’re renew you have to have a KDS that is all four wheel alignment, this is because the mounts are the adjusters to the rear toe….
Or shock mounts. Think they nornally go about 100.000 miles but it depends on how the cars been driven in the past.
