My clutch is vibrating when I let off the gas between 3500 -- 3000 RPMS...I am bringing my car in for the AC issue next week and want to have them check the guibo disc? My question is, is this the correct name for the part, and how do you pronounce it? I hate looking like jerkoff with the service dept. Thanks guys.

Can you try to explain a little more clearly exactly what is happeneing ? By the way the Guibo is not part of the clutch but it is part of the drive train and can cause driveline vibration. so elaborate and i will try to help you determine the problem

When I let off the gas and the RPM's drop between 3500 and 3000 the clutch is vibrating...maybe this is normal but it doesn't feel like it...it doesn't do it at any other RPM's...

ah now i understand.... could be lots of things.. but oine more question does it happen in every gear when you let off the gas? if it does, i would GUESS (becuase i am not driving the car or looking at it) that it is the harmonic frequency range of the vibrating driveshaft due to a failing guibo or center bearing. It could also be worn tranny mounts or even engine mounts. start with the guibo and center bearing inspection though. may as well change the tranny mounts to higher spec ones if you are going to have the work done and they look questionable...

Also, if I have the tranny mounts changed to higher spec, what am I looking at for cost for labor (the car is under warranty, however assuming that is not the problem they would charge me for that) and where can I get the "higher spec" one?
