Grind

when i start my car. and i put it in first gear. and i start going(my car is a stick shift). usually slowly since i just started my car and engine is still cold. then at 2000 rpms or so and only in first gear and only when i just start the car, there is a small grinding noise. sounds like it comes from like right underneath the seat. its been there since ive had the car for a year. never thought much of it till now. it hasnt gotten worse or anything. any info would b nice. thanks

I've had the exact same thing since I bought my car too. Only happens when I first start the car (I have an automatic though).

I brought it to a great local shop here in Seattle called CarTender and they couldn't find anything wrong that would cause this noise. I do know that my guibo is cracked and needs to be replaced soon - I plan on doing this sometime soon, and I'll post whether this gets rid of the noise.
