What is the governor set at for an e36 328is? Does anyone know?

BMW speedos tend to be off by about 10 mph at high speeds, so that could account for the 135. Or, the info I read was wrong.

as a general rule, all guages of any kind tend to be off. Im not sure where exactly I read it, but if you look at the speedo itself, with a top speed of 160, 80 mph should be TDC, but its not. Its slightly to the left. Basically, that results in a calabration thing that causes the speedo to read higher than the actual speed.

also, thats not to say the car cant go 135, but the limit is set at 128 or lower on virtually all cars due to factory H rated tires that cannot handle higher speeds.
