What he said. If you dont lower it too much and get the right offset 19's will go straight on, and I see no reason why 20's wouldnt go on with a little bit of work. I've seen a set of 19's go on with M-tech suspension and no arch work.
na im not want'n to lower it any, it rides to smooth now, i use to have a eclipse lowered an damn that thing rode so bad. yea i wasnt sure if i could fit 20's on or not. Ive never seen 20's on a beamer my body style. Im think'n about go'n with sum nice chrome m3 wheels thou.

With 19s you will get a rough ride. Furthermore, that may require fender rolling. The best results (combo performance/looks) are obtained with 17s. Anything over that and the ride gets harsh. I'm sure some serious fender rolling would allow you to put 20s on it.
