Got my '94 vert home (pix & wheel question)

Hey, all just felt like posting some pix of my new project/toy. Got this from my brother-in-law. It was in a hail storm and now needs a new windshield and top, but those are the least of my worries for now. It also has a stripped out spark plug hole. He was having trouble starting it. It would crank, but not fire, now I can't seem to get it to even crank. It also has a rod bent on the top, and a cable broke.

So, I've got a LOT of reading to do here... I'm sure the answers are all out there, and so I won't bother you with newb questions, but if anyone feels like helping a newb get going without a bunch of searching I'm opening to suggestions...

BTW, I did do some searching over the last few weeks on these wheels, and wasn't able to find anything. They are BBS chromed aluminum. I'm assuming they are aftermarket, but don't know for sure. I'm very new to European cars in general. I've got one wheel that is pretty corroded, and would like to find a replacement, but haven't seen anything anywhere. Couldn't even find one on ebay...

So, anyway here's my new toy.



The wife and I are just hoping to get it running again right now, then slowly make a long term project... We've been talking for a few years about building a Cobra kit car, but we're kinda talking about an LS1 for the Bimmer instead. This way we get all the electronic goodies, a retractable top, locking doors and more leg room for us 6'+ folks...

Yes, that's my Camino (My Avalanche too). Its a '77. 350 stock internals with Edelbrock Performer intake and carb, ceramic headers, custom duals with H-pipe, 200-4R, 3.73 rear end with Eaton posi... Hoping to drop in a 327 TPI one of these days. I've also got a '67 Belvedere II convertible that I'm getting close to finishing its "restomod"...

and yes, I'm aware of the tail light issue. I'm thinking about a can of tint for right now. Not looking to spend much time on cosmetics until its running...

looks like the car has been wrecked in the front. Has it been? i am noticing how the body panels don't really line up.

Not "wrecked", "curbed"? The front valance got pushed up into the grill surround. I'm not sure how it happened. Didn't have much time to go over it with him. Figured I'd pick his brain about it all when I see him again in two weeks.

There's a brand new grill surround in the back of my truck that he ordered, but never got around to installing...

ah, and this one. This is one of my favorites. This is looking out my old garage. That's the rear quarter of my Belvedere, my buddy's '78 F100, and the wife's Civic, and my Camino sitting on 15x6 black steelies while I was getting new BFG's put on the turbines...
