Good Exhaust Under 300$?

Is it possible to get an upgraded exhaust system from headers to front, for under 300$ plus installing fee's
and what would help more a cat-back

or like the entire thing from cat forward ?

i would imagine it is not enough to replace the whole exhaust...

i replaced my old muffler with oem for 300 bucks.. and i think cats are more expensive that mufflers..

if you know a muffler guy, you can get a cat back fabricated for a 100-200.. magnaflow cats are really good and are cheap($50-$80 each, dont buy into bmw purists idea that only bmw cats are any good.. they know nothing) and the muffler is really up to you what you buy.

flowmaster,magnaflow, AA, dinan, IE, remus, Corsa, B&B, etc, etc.. so many choices.. if you want cheap, and if loud isnt a problem, a flowmaster 40 series are cheap ($50), but its loud. not ricer loud, big block loud.

i went with a magnaflow 3" cat and magnaflow muffler for my 325i.

Ha Ha, You got to be kidding right. There is no system out there for probably less then $400-500 for a BMW. A stock cat is about $8-900 and a header is about $1000. If you want those low prices then go to a domestic V-8 like Mustang. THe only advice that I can give you is Stromung Exhaust. It looks like a cheaper and good alternative to put Flows on your car.

You can get those cheap shorty headers from BavAuto for $299 I think. They arent as good as the long tube ones I hear ($700 cheaper) but they should make any exhaust system sound better and give you a little hp.

I thought Remus made a nice exhaust for around $300-350. That's what i am eyeing for the near future at least. You can order them through bavauto.com. You may be able to find slightly cheaper if you look hard enough.
