hey guys wats up, im new to the forums. i have a 96 318i. my glove compartment doesnt close..it keeps opening, only closes rarely after force...any ideas? thanks

The spring that pushed the latch back foward on mine got stuck at the front once. might want to check that.

drooping is a common E36 prob. Look around on the FAQs, i think it has a solution for the drooping

my glove box does not droop. it just wont close but when it does any little bumb opens it back again. somebody help me , im thinking about putting velcrow in side let me know if that's a good idea?

take it apart and look at the latch mechanism.
