Ghello and please help with slipring/ignition

Just saying ghello to everybody. i'm a proud owner of e36 318is and has fallen into the groove of replacing parts with authentic bmw parts at an enourmous cost. i'm still standing by to replace the slipring and the starter cylinder/ignition. i've tried a homemade starter button with two toggle switches and it worked for only 4 months . . . now i'm back starting the bmer with a screw driver. Any ideas out there? thanks

buy a real start button and wire it correclty !!

Thanks for advice. I managed to get a 3 toggle with starter button module and wired it this weekend. As i was following no diagram of any sorts, i figured this wiring out using a multimeter and lots of wires. Only pure luck i didnt cause an electrical short. I will be testing my handywork for a couple of months before I realy knows it works like its suppose to be. Any advice on modifying the slipring?
