what can i do to get rid of the gray on the side skirts or numpers? could i paint them or could i try to go to a junk yard and find a black 325 that has the sports package on it or what if you can give me some ideas it would be great.
Hey, this topic has been covered in many other threads but look on this page for a couple solutions to the sideskirts. The bumpers have to be painted to the body color paint. Professional installation recommended for that.
So yeah, I was feeling lazy. So I busted out the laquer thinner. Well, needless to say now my car has the nice red side skirts (iron oxide primmer) going on. I'm ashamed to drive it. But as soon as the humidity goes away I'll paint them.

P.S. Is there any way to take them off so I can hit all angles more easily? Or am I stuck painting them while they're on the car.

it is my understanding that the 96+ (it may just be the sport package/m3) skirts can be removed by removing a few bolts from underneath and behind the panel.

What are the two circles on the side skirts for? They seem to be made to pop out or something, but I have no idea what for. When I bought it, the guy was saying how to get them out with a screw driver, but I didn't really get what for.
