getting exhausted trying to figure out a set up

well ive been looking at suspension set ups for like 3 months now.

what i require

1)- im looking for a much better improvement over my Mtech suspension
2)- dont wanna drop the ride height too much absolutely no more than 2"
3)- ride stiffness isnt too much of an issue but coilovers kinda scare me
4)- price? well im looking at around NO more than $1000 US or $1500 canadian


now im not looking for referances to places that carry products because ive done that to death, what i need is opinions on what you feel is my best bet or set up. ive been going crazy
