| Got a problem with my gearbox but havn't got the 300 odd pounds needed to rebuild mine so im after a cheap fix. I remember someone saying to me they put a E30 engine into a E36 bay and when straight in, they didnt have to change to box to the older one. He swears by it so in theory a E30 box should work right?
Only reason I ask if theres so bloody many of them I can pick them up dirt dirt cheap and save my money for a rebuild. Have had a look on the internet for the ratios of an E30 box but I cant seem to find it, so does anyone know if it'll fit/work or the ratios for a E30 box?
