Hopefully someone here may be able to shed some light on this.

I have had my BM for 1 year now and quite frequently it pops itself out of 4th gear.

It generally tends to happen when gear shifting on a climb and when I accelerate it may pop.

It has never got any worse, nor has it got any better. I had one guy look at it and he was clueless as to what it was and suggested a re-con gear box.

Just wondering if anyone here has had a simiar problem.

This doesnt happen on any other gear, just 4th and it is guaranteed if I gear up to 5th then down to 4th it doesnt happen!

Its getting on my nerves and I am concerned as to whether I will be doing more damage keeping it like this.

Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what or why, but it appears as the damage is already done...

Loose\gooey transmission mounts. These are notorious to cuase mis-shifts and causes gears to pop out since the gear shift knob dosn't move, but the transmission does under decent torque load. If not that, then it's a malfunction in the garbox.
