Gaz Consumption ?

hey again. how is everyone ?
Guyz ? does anyone happen to know what a 96 318is automatic 's gaz comsumption is under normal conditions ? i mean how many kilometers per liter , or like we do it in my country, how many kms per 20 liters ?

im in the U.S. and i dont know the conversion but here it would be 20/27miles per gallon

oh... and how much does the catalysator affect this ? cuz i know here in my country when the catal. is used they take it off for good ..

I get decent milage in mine. I can usually squeeze 350-400 miles out of a tank.

As always it really depends how you drive.

If you keep flooring it every change you get...you're gonna have bad mpg.

it could be 23 miles per gallon on city driving,
and 30 miles per gallon on freeway driving...

I have a 96 318i with 77,000 kms.
I run about 525kms in the city with a fill of 55 litres.
That's about 10 litres per 100kms or 27.5mpg

Of course it helps to keep the car mechanically "in-tune", and I don't have any "funny add-ons" or after market products.

Why tinker with perfection?

I have a 97 318iS manual, town driving = 22mpg - 25mpg..............open road = 40 mpg

Yes, 225 km per 20 litres. Here we talk about km per litres, that mean a kilometrage of 11.25 km with 1 litre gas... But, now i had read you're topic again, and i've seen that you drive an automatic. Then you drive less economical as i declare....
