Gas Mistake (Quick Urgent Question)

I have always put 93 octane in my 318 and yesterday my dad took my car out becuase his VW was in for service and ... he filled my car up with 89 octane being hte NOOB that he is ... it alreayd had a half tank of 93 and it was mixed with the 89 obviously....

....is there a possibility that problems will occur?

You will be ok, if there was exactly a half tank of 93, and he filled it w/ half 89, then you have 91 octane, which is mid grade, so there won't be any problems.
