Gas mileage (four cyl bimmers)

I filled up then ran it until the light came on..
Canada: I went 652 km on 49.28 liters of fuel.
USA: 13.01 usa gallons = 405 miles

Canada: 37.387mpg USA: 31.129MPG

Holy smokes I have never done that in a car before.. to used to crappy gas mileage. This was hard miles.. not babyin a bit..75% hwy though..

Just wondering what other 4cyl guys are gettin'

I get about 100/quarter tank on the street with moderately agressive driving.

travelled from las vegas to sacramento (about 600 miles) using around 20 gallons of 91 octane fuel. that's a mix of (80%) fairway and (20%) city miles and running with a faulty O2 sensor.

its actually far econimical than my 1.5 liter 95 hyundai accent.

Driving on back highways between LIttle Rock AR and Jackson MS.. I think about 300-320 miles, 4 hrs 30 mins going roughly 10 over I use exactly half a tank of gas. SO I'm happy. All of our other cars use more than that on the trip.
