Gas Door Problem

So on my '94 325is the gas door seems to open a little bit too far. I have tried to apply touch-up paint to the corners where the hinge is, but the paint keeps rubbing off! Does anyone else's gas door open this wide? Is there a fix for this or what?? ghead

I'll post one here tmw, but WOW.... are you going for a full-opening? I don't think mine opens that far.

No that door was like that when I got the car about a year ago! I'm trying to see if this is normal or if I need new hinges or what? Please post your pics everyone!!!

That would bug the hell out of me if it was scratching the paint. I don't have a cam with me but I can tell you that mine doesn't open that far.

I just looked at mine, it opens up to 90 degrees.
