Exclamation FXC-II Fault Code

Hi

Last week, I had a yellow Check Engine light that came up in my dash. I decided it was the right time to *finally* buy the FCX-II tool (Peake Research) to diagnose this code. What I didn't expect was that the error codes were so confusing haha!

So... if someone can help me a bit with this one, I'll appreciate it a lot

The codes are :

07 (Table 07, not an error code)
50 (Secondary air control)
3E (Misfire Detected random or unknown cylinder)
33 (Misfire detected cylinder 2)
-- (End of error codes)

Is this as simple as a bad spark plug ? What is secondary air control ( i though it was Oxygen Sensor but O2 Sensor has it's own code in Table 7).

Maybe it can help you to know that...

I got a 1998, 318i, M44 engine.
Running on Syntec oil and 91 octane gas.
Spark plugs were changed approx. 1 year ago.
O2 Sensor were never replaced since I get the car on august 2004.
All filters (gas, oil of course, air, cabin) are replaced regulary.
Last time I got a yellow Check Engine, I disconnected the battery to see if the light would light again and no, it didn't for 4 months (since last week).

Help is really appreciated I'm kinda broke right now and don't really want to go to dealership to diagnose this, if it's really simple to repair.

Done I copy-pasted them my post by email... don't know if they answer technical questions like this.

If someone else can help, would be appreciated, if not, I'll post their answer here for future reference.

Thanks

Henri

No they don't want to answer technical questions if the code is unclear...

So...... I think I'll reset it and go at dealership...

Thanks Furious
